What a great start to the season! The RIA Community Center kicked off spring with an evening of food, music and fun thanks to the MidCity Development team, the Alice and Eugene Ford Foundation and our residents of Brookland Manor. Our community partners were on hand to introduce residents to all of the new service offerings available at the RIA Community Center!
Our amazing community partners played a big role in making the evening a success—and representatives from these organizations were excited to show residents the education, employment, health and wellness health programs that are currently offered or coming in the months ahead.
Their work connects Brookland Manor residents to services and opportunities designed to uplift and empower the community across all ages. Programs range from access to healthy food and medical care to after school programs to adult education and job opportunities. And with a great turnout at the event, more residents than ever were able to connect with the newly offered services.
With the continued progress on redevelopment, we’re proud to join with partners that help the entire Brookland Manor community move forward together.
