With the first few weeks of school in the books, Brookland Manor families gathered together to officially say goodbye to summer and welcome the beginning of Fall!
On September 9th, Brookland Manor hosted a resident barbeque with delicious food, activities, and good times, there was plenty of fun to go around. It was thrilling to see a huge turnout of families and children, all excited to enjoy nice weather and some time outside the classroom.
At the event, kids enjoyed cotton candy, a DJ, face painting, pickup football games, and – the most popular activity – a mobile video game station, featuring multiple TV screens and big, comfy gaming chairs.
While kids were occupied, adults gathered as a community to enjoy a good dinner, good conversation and the beautiful weather.
While we’re sad to see Summer end, we can’t wait to see what Fall has in store for us!
